How to Use the P1 Meter Reader?

    The SOLARMAN P1 meter reader is a WiFi-connected smart meter reading device, compatible with various types of P1 meters. It features a Type-C interface to solve power compatibility issues commonly found with older meter models. The P1 device supports fast Bluetooth configuration and true plug-and-play functionality, all within a compact design that saves installation space. During communication, data is encrypted to ensure secure transmission. The P1 meter reader also supports remote management and local API access to Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS), and can interact with micro-energy storage systems. Real-time and historical data are presented in a visual format, allowing users to intuitively monitor their electricity usage and trends—ultimately enabling smarter and more efficient energy management.

    How to Use:

    • Ensure Compatibility: Check if your smart meter is compatible with the P1 Meter Reader. Most modern meters in Europe are compatible, but it’s important to verify.

    • Plug In the Meter Reader: Insert the P1 Meter Reader into the P1 port of your smart meter, and then connect the external power adapter.


    How to Use the P1 Meter Reader?


    • Connect to Wi-Fi: The P1 reader will automatically connect to your Wi-Fi network.

    • Monitor via App: Download the SOLARMAN Smart APP or EnergyEase APP (available both for Android and iOS) to view real-time consumption data or historical usage patterns.
