Basic Introduction of Solar PV System

Solar PV system can be divided into two categories. One is off-grid/independent solar PV system. Another is grid-tied solar PV system.

In off-grid/independent solar PV system, the core component is the solar module, which directly converts the sunlight into electrical energy. And solar controller can store the electrical energy generated by the solar module in the battery. When the loads needs the power, the electrical energy in the battery can be reasonably distributed to each load through the solar controller.

In grid-tied solar PV system, solar module converts the sunlight into electrical energy. The energy is transmitted to grid-tied inverter via DC combiner box and DC distribution cabinet. The grid-tied inverter can convert DC into AC. AC power is supplied to loads through AC distribution cabinets. The surplus power can be fed in grid via transformer and other devices.
