Solar energy is a widely available renewable energy source, however the performance of solar power generation systems is often affected by many factors, such as weather conditions, shading and component failure. The introduction of solar monitoring system aims to monitor and analyze key data in the solar power generation process in real time, thereby providing insights into system performance and providing decision support to operators and maintenance personnel.
Solar monitoring systems usually consist of multiple sensors and monitoring devices used to collect data in solar power generation systems. These sensors can measure parameters such as solar radiation intensity, temperature, current and voltage.
