The location of the checkmark on meter images shows you where the P1 port is located on each meter. In most cases, the port is behind a latch or cap.
All modern meters (also known as “slimme meter”) in the Netherlands have a P1 port and are compatible with the P1 Meter Reader.

Modern meters in Lithuania have a P1 port and work with the P1 Meter Reader. The data frequency is limited to once per minute.

All modern meters in Sweden have a P1 or HAN port and are compatible with the P1 Meter Reader. In some cases you may need to contact your network operator to enable the HAN port on your smart meter.

All modern meters in Hungary (also known as Okosmérő) have a P1 port but not all are compatible with the P1 Meter Reader. This is dependent on your network operator.

Modern meters in Finland have a P1 port (also known as HAN port) and work with the P1 Meter Reader. In some cases the P1 port can be disabled and you need to contact your network operator to enable the P1 port on your smart meter.

All modern meters (also known as “digitale meter”) in Belgium have a P1 port and are compatible with the P1 Meter Reader. By default, the P1 port on Belgian smart meters is deactivated for security and privacy of your data. Your local network operator can activate this port.

All modern meters (also known as “Smarty”) in Luxembourg have a P1 port and are compatible with the P1 Meter Reader. By default, the P1 port on Luxembourg “Smarty” meters is encrypted.

In Denmark, smart meters are available with a P1 port, a HAN port and a HEP port. If you have a P1 port, you can use the P1 Meter Reader. If you have a HAN port, you will need an extra HAN converter to get the P1 Meter Reader to work. Our products do not work with the HEP port.

In Austria it is network operator dependant if your smart meter has a P1 port. By default the P1 port is encrypted.

All modern meters in Norway have a HAN port and are compatible with the P1 Meter Reader.
